Alphabet Inc. Chart Analysis
Alphabet Inc. Technical Analysis
The technical analysis of the GOOGLE stock price chart on 4-hour timeframe shows #S-GOOG,H4 is retracing lower after testing the 200-period moving average MA(200) following a rebound to three-week high a week ago. We believe the bearish momentum will continue after the price breaches below the lower boundary of Donchian channel at 164.06. This level can be used as an entry point for placing a pending order to sell. The stop loss can be placed above 169.41. After placing the order, the stop loss is to be moved every day to the next fractal high indicator following Parabolic indicator signals. Thus, we are changing the expected profit/loss ratio to the breakeven point. If the price meets the stop loss level (169.41) without reaching the order (164.06), we recommend cancelling the order: the market has undergone internal changes which were not taken into account.

Google may be forced to divest some of its units. Will the GOOGLE stock price retreat?
The U.S. Department of Justice is considering recommending that Alphabet Inc's Google be forced to sell off some of its units as a solution for its alleged monopolization of the online search market, according to court filing. DOJ suggests also the technology giant reveal the underlying data used to build its search engine and artificial intelligence products. Earlier reports suggested that Google could sell its Android operating system and web browser Chrome as part of an antitrust settlement. Google could also be forced to stop paying billions of dollars to make its search engine the default on several popular devices, including Apple Inc's iPhone. Expectations of a breakup and sale of business units is bearish for a company stock price.
