Global equity indexes are trading in different directions currently after US stocks ended mixed on Monday. Apple shares added 0.67% as Citi reiterated a Buy rating and a price target of $255.00 for the iPhone maker, Nvidia shares surged 3.43% on Monday outperforming market following strong results from Taiwan-based Foxconn.

The Dollar weakening is intact currently. The live dollar index data show the ICE US Dollar index, a measure of the dollar’s strength against a basket of six rival currencies, ended 0.7% lower on Monday.

Both GBP/USD and EUR/USD accelerated their advancing yesterday as statistics office Destatis reported German inflation rose to a higher than expected 2.9% in December. Both euro and Pound are higher against the dollar currently. USD/JPY reversed its sliding while AUD/USD accelerated its advancing on Monday with both the yen and Australian dollar higher against the Greenback currently.

Futures on three main US stock indexes are down currently with the yield on benchmark 10-year Treasury down at 4.612%. US stock market ended mixed on Monday as the three main stock benchmarks recorded daily returns in a range from -0.06% to 1.24% with tech shares leading gains.

European stock indexes futures are lower currently after indexes closed higher on Monday with auto shares leading gains ahead of Washington Post report that Trump’s team is considering a plan to impose tariffs on all countries, but only on “critical imports”, which president Trump called “… another example of Fake News” in his social network later. Asian indexes futures are mixed today with Japan’s Nikkei leading gains.
