Global equity indexes are pointing in different directions currently after Wall Street ended lower on Wednesday. Nvidia shares lost 1.66% underperforming market despite announcement by the US leading chip maker it did not receive a US Justice Department subpoena, Alphabet shares slid 0.5% on Wednesday after Morgan Stanley reduced its price target on the tech giant to $190 from $205, citing ongoing legal challenges with the US Department of Justice related to accusations of antitrust violations and monopolistic practices.

The Dollar weakening has halted currently. The live dollar index data show the ICE US Dollar index, a measure of the dollar’s strength against a basket of six rival currencies, slid 0.4% on Wednesday.
Both EUR/USD and GBP/USD reversed their sliding yesterday while the federal statistics office Destatis final data showed growth in Germany's services sector slowed for a third consecutive month in August. Both Pound and euro are higher against the dollar currently. AUD/USD joined USD/JPY’s continuing sliding on Wednesday with the yen steady against the Greenback currently and the Australian dollar lower.

The US stock index futures are up currently ahead of unemployment claims and ISM Services PMI report due at 16:30 CET today. US stocks closed lower on Wednesday with the three main US stock benchmarks recording daily returns in a range from -0.3% to 0.1% while Labor Department report showed job openings in the US fell unexpectedly in July, a sign that hiring could cool in the coming months.
European stock indexes futures are mixed currently after closing down on Wednesday led by technology shares. Asian stock indexes futures are mixed today with Japan’s Nikkei leading gains while data showed Japan's wage growth was higher than expected in July .

Brent is retracing up presently. Prices ended over $1 lower yesterday in choppy trading. Today at 18:30 CET the Energy Information Administration will release US Crude Oil Inventories. The US oil benchmark West Texas Intermediate (WTI) futures fell 1.6% but are higher currently. Brent crude lost 1.4% to $72.70 a barrel on Wednesday.
